Everybody has blue days. These are miserable days when you feel lousy, grumpy, lonely, and utterly exhausted.Days when you feel small and insignificant, when everything seems just out of reach. You can't rose to the occasion.Just started seems impossible. On blue days you can become paranoid that everyone is out to get you.(This is not always such a bad thing.)You feel frustrated and anxious, which can induce a nail-bitting frenzy that can escalate into a triple-chocolate-mud-cake-eating frenzy in a blink of an eye!On blue days you feel like you're floating in an ocean of sadness. You're about to burst into tears at any
moment and you don't even know why.Ultimately, you feel like you're wandering through life without purpose. You're not sure how much longer you can hang on,and you feel like shouting,"Will somone please shoot me!" It doen't take much to bring on a blue day.You might just wake up not feeling or looking your best, find new wringkels, put on a little weight,or get a hug pimple on your nose. You could forget your date's name or have an embarrassing photograph published. You might get dumped, divorced,or fired, make a fool of yourself in public,be afflicted with a demeaning nicknames,or just have a plain old bad-hair day.Maybe work is a pain in the butt. You're under major pressure to fill someone else's shoes, your boss is picking on you,and everyone in the office is driving you crazy. You might have a splitting headache,or a slipped disk, bad breath,a toothache, chronic gas,dry lips,or a nasty ingrown toenail.Whatever that reason, you're convinced that someone up there does'nt like you.Oh what to do,what to dooo? Well,if you're like most people, you'll hide behind a flimsy belief that everything will sort itself out. Then you'll spend the rest of your life looking over your shoulder, waiting for everything to go wrong all over again. All the while becoming crusty and cynical or a pathetic, sniveling victim.Until you get so depressed that you lie down and beg the earth to swallow you up or even worse, become addicted to Billy Joel songs. This is crazy, beacuse
you're only young once and you're never old twice.Who knows what fantastic thing are in store just around the corner? After all, the world is full of amazing discoveries, things you can't even imagine now. There are delicious, happy sniffs and scrumptious snakcs to share.Hey, you might end up fabulously rich or even
become a huge superstar (one day).Sounds good, doesn't it? But wait, there's more! There are handstands and games to play and yoga and karaoke and wild, crazy, bohemian dancing. But best of all, there's ramance.Which means long dreamy stares, whispering sweet nothings, cuddles, smooches, more smooches, and even more smooches,a frisky love bote or two,and then well, anything goes.So how can you find that blissful "just sliding into a hot bubble bath" kind of feeling? It's easy.First slinking away from all those nagging issues. It's time to face the music. Now,just relax.Take some deep breaths (in through the nose and out through the mouth).Try to meditate if you can.Or go for a walk to clear your head.Accept the fact that you'll have to let go of some emotional baggage.Try seeing things from a different perspective.maybe you'll actually the one at falut. If that's the case,be big enough to say you're sorry (it's never too late to do this). If someone else is doing the wrong thing, stand up tall and say, "That's not right and I won't stand for it!" It's okay to be forceful.(It's rarely okay to blow raspberries.)Be proud of who you are,but don't lose the ability to laugh at yourself.(This is a lot easier when you associate with positive people.) Live every day as if it were your last, because one day it will be.Don't be afraid to bite off more that you can chew.Take a big risks.Never hang back.Get out there and go for it.After all.isn't that what life is all about? I think so too...

"This is what we call love. When you are loved, you can do anything in creation. When you are loved, there's no need at all to understand what's happening, because everything happens within you."
What is Happiness???

This is a question that has not bothered me for a long time, precisely because I don’t know how to answer it.

I am not the only one. Through all these years I have lived with all sorts of people: rich and poor, In the eyes of all who have crossed my path – and here I include wise men, people who should have nothing to complain about – I have always found that there was something missing.

Some people seem to be happy: they just do not think about it. Others make plans: “I’m going to have a husband, a home, two children, and a house in the country”. While this keeps them occupied, they are like bulls looking for the bullfighter: they don’t think, they just keep moving forward. They manage to get their car – sometimes even a Ferrari – and they think that the meaning of life lies there, so they never ask the question. Yet, despite all that, their eyes betray a sadness that they themselves are quite unaware of.

I don’t know if everyone is unhappy. I do know that people are always busy: working overtime, looking after the kids, the husband, the career, the university degree, what to do tomorrow, what they need to buy, whatever it is they need to have in order not to feel inferior, and so on.

Few people have ever told me: “I’m unhappy”. Most say: “I’m fine, I’ve managed to get all I ever wanted”.

So then I ask: “What makes you happy?”

They answer: “I have everything that a person can dream of – a family, a home, work, good health”.

I ask again: “Have you ever stopped to wonder if that is all there is to life?”

They answer: “Yes, that’s all there is”.

I insist: “So the meaning of life is work, the family, children who grow up and leave you, a wife or husband who will become more like a friend than a true love-mate. And one day the work will come to an end. What will you do when that happens?

They answer: there is no answer. They change the subject. But there is always something hidden there: the owner of a firm who has still to close the deal he has always dreamed of, the housewife who would like to have more independence or more money, the new graduate who wonders whether he has chosen his career or has had it chosen for him, the dentist who wanted to be a singer, the singer who wanted to be a politician, the politician who wanted to be a writer, and the writer who wanted to be a peasant.

I bet that everyone is feeling the same thing.

I leaf through magazines filled with famous people: everybody laughing, everybody very happy. But since this is a segment of society that I am quite familiar with, I know it is not like that: everyone is laughing or enjoying themselves at the moment that photo is taken, but at night, or in the morning, the story is always quite different. “What can I do to keep on appearing in the magazine?”, “how can I disguise not having enough money to afford all this luxury?” or “how can I manage this life of splendor to make it even more luxurious, more expressive than other people’s?”, “the actress whom I am seen with in this photo, laughing and having a great time, she could steal my part tomorrow!”, or “I wonder if my clothes are nicer than hers. Why do we smile so much if we loathe one another?”

To end, I recall the words of Jorge Luis Borges: “I will not be happy any more, but that doesn’t matter, / there are many other things in this world

Most of my friends, have degrees.
That doesnt mean that they've managed to find the kind of work they wanted.
Not at all.

They went to university because someone,
at a time when universities were important, said that, in order to rise in the world,
you had to have a degree.

And thus the world was deprived of some excellent gardeners,
bakers, antique dealers, sculptors, and writers.
Perhaps this is the moment to review the situation.
Doctors, engineers, scientists, and lawyers need to go to university,
but does everyone?
When life makes us face difficult situations—
such as a personal loss—
we have to understand
that eternity is taking
one more step.
I don't regret the painful times;
I bare my scars as if they were medals.
Freedom is not the absence of commitments,
but the ability to choose--and
commit myself to--
what is best for me.
...in all the woods and forests,
God did not create a single leaf
the same as any other…
People go against nature
because they lack
the courage to be different.
...it was dangerous to overflow
because we might end up finding ourselves occupied
by our loved ones and drowning them
with our love and enthusiasm.
If you start by promising
what you don't even have yet,
you'll lose your desire to work towards,
getting it.

Expiration Date
Everyone AND everything in our lives has an expiration date. There will come a point when you’re not going to need him/her, this/that any longer. It hurts to let go especially when that person/thing is someone/something that you (used to) value, when special memories are trapped with that person/thing. But for me, it hurts more to be left behind. I fucking swear.and I still don’t know what to do now.
